A Necklace Pearl is beautiful
Jewelry is both creative and beautiful. There are many gemstones in the jewelry family to choose from when both buying and wearing gemstone jewelry. My birthday is in September; my birthday is September 15th to be exact. Therefore, my birthstone is sapphire. However, I love other gemstones besides sapphire; I like pearls as well. In fact, I have a sapphire and pearl ring that I got for my sixteenth birthday that I adore. I think that blue and white make a great color combination. I have a pearl ring but I don’t have a necklace pearl, but I wish that I had a necklace pearl.
The unique luster of depends upon the reflection and the refraction of light from the translucent layers and is finer in proportion as the layers become finer and more numerous. The iridescence that some peals display is caused by the overlapping of successive layers, which breaks up light on the surface. Pears are usually white sometimes with a creamy or pinkish tinge, but pears may be tinted with the colors of yellow, green, blue, brown, purple, or black. A necklace pearl is usually made out of either white or black pearls. However, a necklace pearl is sometimes designed from pink pearls. I think that a pearl necklace that is designed out of both black and white pearls is very creative, beautiful, and elegant. Pearls are the gemstone that people wear when they want to look elegant.
Did you know that pearls fit into two categories: freshwater and saltwater? As there name suggests, freshwater pears are formed in freshwater mussels that reside in lakes, rivers, ponds, and other bodies of fresh water. Most freshwater peals that are sold today come from China. By contrast, saltwater pearls grow in oysters that live in the ocean, usually in protected lagoons. Besides there being a difference between freshwater and saltwater pearls, there is a difference between natural and cultured pearls. Generally, a difference is made between natural and cultured pearls. This difference focuses on whether the pearl was created by nature, without man’s assistance or with the help of man. Both cultured pearls and natural can be used to create and design a necklace pearl.
A well equipped gem testing laboratory is able to separate natural pearls from their cultured pearl, non-nucleated cultured pearls, and imitation pearls counterparts. The separation between a natural pearl and a cultured pearl is almost impossible without a bonafide gemological X-ray certificate. Also, it is a well known fact that pearls in cultivated areas has a different structure than natural pearls.
Did you know that the value of the pearls in jewelry is determined by a combination of the luster, color, size, lack of surface flaw, and symmetry that are appropriate for the type of pearl under consideration? Among those attributes, luster is the most important differentiator of pearl quality according to jewelers. All factors being equal however, the larger the pearl the more valuable is. Large, perfectly round pearls are rare and highly valued. Teardrop shaped pearls are often used in pendants and irregular shaped are often used in pearl necklaces. There is also a unique way of naming pearl necklaces. A collar of pears will sit directly against the throat a not hang down the neck at all. In addition, they are often made up of multiple stands of pearls. Pearl chokers nestle just at the base of neck. A matinee of pearls falls just above the breast. An opera will be long enough to reach the breastbone of the wearer. No matter what the length, a necklace pearl is great for any occasion. In addition, there is a painting called Girl with a Pearl Earring. Perhaps, someday a modern painter will paint a portrait called Girl with a necklace pearl.
